IntelliIntegrate

IntelliINTEGRATE - Installation Service Summary

ITEC's Installation Service offering is designed to give our customers the ability to select the level of Installation required in line with their own in house abilities, timelines and budget.

Intelli INTEGRATE gives the customer the ability to contract for anything from a complete outsource installation right down to where the customer can install the equipment onsite and ITEC will be remote support only. Installations can be scheduled during normal business hours or for an additional charge schedule out of hours install. The full installation procedure from ITEC would include the following:

Intelli INTEGRATE Full Service Deliverables

  • Service Co-ordination with third party suppliers
  • Unpack, inspect and inventory your equipment
  • Pre Stage and configuration against agreed specification of works
  • Ship to Site(s) for customer timelines
  • Physically install and option the hardware
  • Attach the physical interfaces
  • Validate network interface status
  • Perform a power-up and check-out of each unit
  • HW Availability Tests
  • Customer Sign off and validation

Remote Installation - Summary

The remote installation support only from ITEC assists the customer in doing their own physical install and can include the following:

  • Identification of a single IP Address for a single protocol
  • Remotely download configuration enabling a simple ping test to the network
  • Assist with identification of network issues
  • Moves, adds or changes to existing hardware or configurations

For these types of Installations the customer is responsible for providing the access into the network to enable ITEC to be able to connect directly to the equipment.

IPT - Lan Audit Survey

Service Overview

As enterprises evolve to a converged environment, IPT Network Infrastructure Analysis is of paramount importance to customers being able to safely implement IP-based solutions that deliver expanded communication capabilities with the performance and cost benefits of a stable, optimised infrastructure.

These services include a three-phased approach, from the detailed analysis of the entire network to help assess whether customers can deploy a converged IP solution (such as IP Soft phones, and IP Hard phones) without adversely affecting their existing network applications and services, to the implementation of the design.

Summary of Services

  • Information Gathering - Certified ITEC engineers conduct a high-level evaluation of the local or wide area network infrastructure to identify any significant network issues that must be resolved prior to deploying the proposed IP solution.Information Gathering - Certified ITEC engineers conduct a high-level evaluation of the local or wide area network infrastructure to identify any significant network issues that must be resolved prior to deploying the proposed IP solution.
  • Design - once the information gathering is done, the next stage is to move on to IPT network design. Several considerations should be kept in mind such as:
    • Security, redundancy, scalability and integration with existing IT systems.
    • The number of phones needed and the features desired, including dial plans, voice mail, auto attendant, unified messaging, emergency services and so on.
    • LAN/WAN design and integration, Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP) directory integration and analog phone/fax/modem integration requirements.

By considering these factors, the ultimate design accommodates all users' requirements, provides end-to-end Quality of Service (QoS) and reduces management costs

  • Implementation - This plan will include any associated network staging and installation. Acceptance testing will also be completed to ensure a smooth implementation.
  • Training - System Administration and user training is the last important phase ensuring that the Company can maximise the return on investment by giving users the ability to benefit from the system and feature enhancements that have been identified as critical for business development.

Wireless LAN Survey

Service Overview

As enterprises evolve to a converged environment, Secure Wireless Networks will allow the user the freedom to roam the network access needed applications in seamless manner. Wireless networks can allow visitors or guests controlled access to your LAN infrastructure and reduce cost line items such as building wiring costs for communal areas such as meeting rooms etc. Infrastructure Analysis is of paramount importance to customers being able to safely implement Wireless solutions that deliver expanded communication capabilities with the performance and cost benefits of a stable, optimised infrastructure.

This service uses a four-phased approach, from the detailed analysis of the entire network to ensure that access to the network is available, controlled and secure. The goal is to implement this network change without adversely affecting their existing network applications and services.

Summary of Services

  • Information Gathering - Certified ITEC engineers conduct a high-level evaluation of the local and wide area network infrastructure to identify any significant network issues that must be resolved prior to deploying the proposed Wireless solution. The steps are:
    1. Obtain / Prepare a facility diagram
    2. Visually inspect the facility
    3. Identify and Locate user areas
    4. Determine preliminary access point locations
    5. Measure and verify access point locations
    6. Document readings at each location
  • Design -once the information gathering is done, the next stage is to move on to Wireless network design. Several considerations should be kept in mind such as:
    • Security, redundancy, scalability and integration with existing IT systems.
    • The optimum number of users for each area and the applications that will be required at each user area.
    • Development an implementation test plan based on the original readings obtained at step 5 of the Information gathering stage.
  • Implementation -This plan will include any associated network staging and installation. Acceptance testing will also be completed to ensure a smooth implementation.
  • Training -System Administration and user training is the last important phase ensuring that the Company can maximise the return on investment by giving users the ability to benefit from the system.
